Full circle

Well, today I applied for a job at the Winchester Mystery House. I was a guide there back in 1990, so I know the general drill, and it is an enjoyable job, but...

I feel like I'm going backwards. I hate this feeling, and what it means. I'm the type who likes to go forward, see something new, but if this is what I can get, so be it. I've been told be friends and family who took the tour with me years ago that I'm quite good at it, so this might work out, or at least give me time to get SSA or a better job.

It is rather appropriate that I'm going back now.. 13 years after I left.. Mrs. Winchester liked the number 13...

Instead of being a Tour Guide, consider yourself a Actor.

You are portraying the role of a Winchester house servant.

Instead of "She used the window to watch the kitchen staff.", try "The mistress she likes to spy on us through this window."

Alas, that's off script.

It's not the job, I had a great time at the Winny Mizzy House, just the feeling of "I've been here before" that bugs me.
