The Great Crusade Began...

Take a moment to remember those brave men who slogged ashore on Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah, and bloody Omaha. Remember the paratroopers who dropped in darkness, missed their DZs by miles, and still accomplished their missions in little groups.
Remember the pilots, the sailors, and the soldiers who never left England who worked themselves into exhaustion to support those on the beaches.
And, most of all, remember those who still guard those beaches in the cemeteries. They died so that we can write whatever we want in our Live Journals.
