gridloreOnce again, it is time for the annual Baycon Programming dance! The cone is about two weeks away. I've been a panelist for the last few years. And for the third year in a row, I have no idea if I'm coming back this year!
How difficult is it to compile a list of e-mail addresses and make contact with panelists in January? I've already had contact with Orycon.. and that is in November! This is just unacceptable. Because I am expecting to be a panelist. If I'm not, that means that neither Kiri or I can afford the convention.
Several e-mails to programming have gone unanswered, and I've even e-mailed the chair to ask what was up? Nothing.
Pisses me off. The con is drowning in politics if they can't get a simple staff position filled in time to contact panelists in a timely manner.

Two weeks? Nope!

interest. We are unable to help you," with no more info
added.
