What with the stay at home order, we tried to be good and order groceries from Safeway online for delivery. Well, fuck that noise.

I drink Coke Life, not Diet Coke. Kirsten swears she ordered the right stuff, but there they are, three 12-packs of Diet Coke. She also ordered a box of raisins for her morning cereal. What she got was a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Again, not listed as a substitution.

Add in that the 3lb package of ground turkey showed up with the packaging cracked (photos were taken, complaint filed, straight into the bin) and we're done.

We're going to head down to Smart & Final in a bit to fill in the holes in our order, but seriously, if you advertise an excellent online shopping experience you better deliver, in all aspects!

I'm sorry you're getting such hassle. That sounds frustrating.

We're just far enough at the edge of Wildomar that delivery is rarely a thing for local businesses. Chris & Dad mask up and do large shopping trips less often than they did before the pandemic. The foldup wagon comes in handy for unloading the car. The one thing that lets us get away with stocking up is the spare fridge in the garage. We're in the smallest city in this cluster: Lake Elsinore is 56K+, Temecula and Murrieta are each over 100K (Murrieta's closer), and we're over 36K. We have a level II trauma center 2 exits away at the other end of town - not far. We've both been, alas, Chris when he was hit by a drunk driver (he was fine), I went twice for kidney stones. Very modern, and not full yet.

I applaud your efforts to be so responsible. We're doing the best we can. They mask and distance without fail, andif all goes according to plan, I'm leaving the house for the first time since February tomorrow.

Try to stay sane and healthy. It will get worse before it gets better, but it will get better.
