  • Friday, May 27 1600hrs San Tomas Space Colony Utopianism Within some of your lifetimes, sharia-law Islamists, nudists, kibbutzen, matriarchists, atheists... maybe even people like us who might want to get away from the interfering politics and armies of Earth and join with like-minded people to form their own independent societies may be able to do so. Assuming the technical problems can be solved, would this happen? How would such colonies interact with Earth? Obviously I need to do research on the colonization of America, the Mormons, the Great Trek, etc.

  • Saturday, May 28 1300hrs Lafayette I Can Explain That! Come ask our panelists questions and they will answer them to the best of their ability whether they know the answer -- or not. This sounds like a howl. Can't wait to see who else is on the panel.

  • Sunday, May 29 1130hrs Lafayette Social Etiquette and Technology Social etiquette always lags behind technological innovation. Think about the etiquette disruptions caused by now common-place things like the automobile, the trolley, radio, the telephone, and television. In the past twenty or so years, we've added email, instant messaging, social networks and tweets. What lies ahead, and how do we handle it? I'm gpinmg to have a lot of fun on this one.

  • Monday, May 30 1130hrs Winchester Saved by the Fans Discussion about television shows rescued from destruction. Not sure why I'm on this panel since I don't watch much TV.
