Mar. 15th, 2008 05:27 pmThe 7th inning of the Giants-Mariners Cactus League just ended. The Giants batted around, scoring six runs to make the score 14-7.
That's a football score. Not baseball. :)
The highlight of the inning was a kid, Ryan Rohlinger, from the minor league camp. Spent last year with the Augusta Greenjackets (A) and the year before that with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Short-Season A) Called up for this split-squad game, his first at bat came with the bases loaded. He smacks a base clearing double to the wall. I think he might be moving up to Double A soon...
Ah, baseball.
