Riding home yesterday sucked. Well over 90 degrees, and a pretty good wind from the west (which is the direction of about half my ride.) Here are the totals:

Hide the Rum!

Back from seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Very good, but a middle movie which means nothing really gets resolved. Great make-up effects, Johnny Depp is great again, and buckles are swashed.

Now Kiri and the Dude are off for the Bauhaus/NIN show. My agenda is beer and Nethack.

Somehow, I strained my upper back, right between the shoulder blades. I woke up on my stomach this morning, which is not normal. That might have been the cause.

We have a functiuoning shower again. Yay!
