From the Usual Suspects...

1. What was the last new song you discovered? Bruce Dickinson - Navigate the Seas of the Sun Think mid-70s prog rock done by a metal artist. The entire album (Tyranny of Souls) is quite interesting.

2. What was the last new dish you tasted? Couldn't tell you. I'm not overly adventurous when it comes to food.

3. Where was the last place you visited for the first time? My job has me constantly going to new sites, so yesterday.

4. Who was the last new person you met? The new hire at work.

5. What was the last new toy you played with? My iPod Shuffle.

That's what the odometer read when I got in the Shiny New Truck today and started her up for the first time. Checking the paperwork, this thing was built on May 19th.. of this year! My work truck has new car smell.

All the gates work, the latches are smooth, and they don't even rattle much. My seat adjusts six ways from Sunday, and is very comfortable.

Speaking of the gates, they are the lower model and I had no problems lifting and resetting them. The bed is low enough for me to climb over the gates when I just need one box or something. All in all, a good thing.

Now I'm happy that it is the weekend. Despite the gates being lighter, I'm still really feeling it in my shoulders.
