Friday Fiver - This is the Radio Clash!
Dec. 16th, 2005 05:29 amFrom the home office, broadcasting from a hidden bunker somewhere, we get:
1. What's your favorite radio station? Currently, a close tie between KFOG and Channel 104.9. For news, I listen to KCBS
2. How would you describe the format? KFOG is a great mix of classix rock and newer stuff, but on the lighter side of things. I love the morning show, which involves intelligent people and not stupid jokes and pranks. Channel advertisies itself as "the new music alternative", but their playlist is as deep as KFOG's, but slightly harder.
3. Do you think satellite radio will become commonplace, like subscribing to cable TV? I hope not, since local radio is the best way to learn about local events.
4. Have you thought about buying a satellite radio subscription? For about five minutes, then I discovered free online radio that covered my more exotic musical tastes.
5. When is the last time you said goodbye? It's been a while, since I don't tend to use that word.
