The Olympic Test.

I've been sort of half-watching the Olympics. The problem is there are too many weird sports that don't belong there.

So at work yesterday, I devised the true test of an Olympic sport - would the Spartans do it? If you can picture the toughest Greeks of them all participating in an event, it stays.. if not, it goes.

There, if people would listen to me, the Olympics would rock.

I have a similar test for the Winter olympics.. The Viking Test.

A minor annoyance.

About halfway through my shift tonight, I started getting a sore throat. It's now at the "hurts to swallow" stage. Hopefully, my next few days off will give it a chance to go away.

Oh, another weird thing tonight...

Normally, at closing time we still have three or four shopping groups in the store. We have to call closing over the PA several times to get them out.

Tonight, the store was deserted after 2040. Nobody. We got out a half-hour early because of that.
