Jason Schmidt pitches his second one-hit complete game shut out in a month, and Edgardo Alfonzo hits a grand slam to win the three game series against Bean Town.

This was important, not only for the help in the win column, but because we showed that we can beat quality teams. The Red Sox are a very strong team, with excellent hitters and strong pitching, and we took 2 of 3 from them.

The level of idiocy on the Traveller Mailing List is about to push me out the door.

People whinging about their favorite edition of Traveller not being supported, even though it ceased publication in 1987, people whinging about not wanted to have to do any work to use game books, personal insults, complaints about "too many words" in posts explaining complex scientific concepts!

That, and movie reviews, game reviews, and all sorts of Off-Topic crap. A hell of a lot of this can be traced to one idiot.

I'm this close to being off a list I've been on since the first day I had Internet access, about ten years ago.

What is going to happen is I'm pulling back for a while. And I may killfile two certain idiots (Certain idiots? Yes, I'm quite certain they're idiots...)
