I want to work for these people.
I mean, I
really want to work for these people. So much so, that half way through the group session I told them that even though my online application said part time, I'd be able to take full time. They are that cool.
The company seems to feel that happy employees, who understand the product line and enjoy their jobs are the best. From what our two interviewers said, working there can be a hoot. I mean, what other company do you know where the two founders visit stores and just work the aisles and registers? Does Bill Gates take tech support calls? Before the store even opens in October, we'll get three solid weeks of training. No cold drops into the deep end.
I really want this job. Turbo-charged job vibes that have been dipped in Chemical X would be appreciated.
The nice thing is they are hiring 80 people this is a new location, so we get a pre-opening extravaganza. (seriously, they throw a party before opening for the staff.) and the four other people in my group were all looking for part time and had other commitments. I think this gave me a slight edge.
dafydd will be thrilled to learn that there is someone on Earth who talks more than I do.
