Mixing things up a little.

I had declared my intention to get some things done around here while Kiri's away; cleaning, doing some writing. But the heat, my stress over the bloody non-interview, and my tendency to get into ruts was defeating me. So today I did a few things to shake myself up a little.

I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl with Mom and madelineusher. It was fun, and I spotted things that I had missed before. Bought lottery tickets... I will win this time!

Coming home, I settled in to watch the Giants at Rockies, and decided to do something new. A few weeks ago, I had downloaded some scoring sheets, and tonight I finally filled one out. Just for the Giants, as I wasn't too sure about what I was doing. But it is quite fun, and I'm going to try to find a better sheet with larger diamonds.

So, I feel refreshed, and the heat wave appears to have broken, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
