Sometime yesterday, between the time that Kirsten got home and when we headed out for some dinner fixings, trees sprouted in our yard! Evidently, the world's slowest landscapers roused themselves from their sloth-like slumbers and in an astounding burst of energy, planted a whole bunch of trees.

The amazing thing is, we didn't hear any of this happen! We were both home, and at least one of us was awake the entire time! There are a good dozen plants out there. Including at least one orange tree.

Can't see the forest for the trees!

A study has been done on ear worms.. those annoying tunes you can't get out of your head. I'm too tired to go look it up, but the Channel 2 News did a story on it.

Reporter Bob McKenzie not only talked about the kinds of songs that make good ear worms.. the bastard played them!

"It's a Small World" "The Barney Song" and other horrors of modern jingles. When they cut back to the anchor desk, everyone was practically screaming in horror while begging the audience not to blame them.

I'm going to have fooked-up dreams tonight!

(I believe that we could get every piece of information we ever wanted out of the Gitmo detainees if we just put 'em on the Small World ride at Disneyland.. and refused to let them off until they gave us everything they know.)
