Shake and Bake
Apr. 18th, 2003 01:29 pm97 years ago, some slipped deep beneath the Earth along the San Andreas fault, and San Francisco shook with an earthquake that measured well over 8 on the Richter scale. Best guess is it was an 8.2. After the shaking stopped, fires broke out that leveled half the city.
Within two years, we had rebuilt almost everything.
