Aug. 5th, 2001 03:47 pmLast night, we did something that I haven't done in a long time.. we went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. While Kiri has stayed involved, I was to burned out over my treatment at Erotic Nightmares, and generally to tired to get involved.
But since I work grave now, staying awake wasn't a problem, and I really needed to get out of the damn apartment. So, dressed in my best leather and black t-shirt, down the peninsula we go.
I had a blast. Ran into several people I hadn't seen in a long time, remembered almost all my calls (and had most of my timing down), and even came out of it with a significant portion of my voice intact. Then the traditional trip to Denny's, where they didn't have milkshakes, and screwed up two out of three orders.
I'll be going back again. I doubt I really want to get into the entire cast thing again, but I can see myself prowling the aisles shout my fool head off.
Another cool thing. One of the people we ran into was Michael, a friend of ours who works at Gamescape. A few weeks ago, I signed a copy of Ground Forces there, almost on a whim. Michael told me that someone had seen the signature, freaked, and immediately placed the book on hold. I have fans! That is *so* weird.
