Books just mug me, I swear.

So typically me. I go into the library to pick up my book on hold, George, Nicholas and Wilhelm: Three Royal Cousins and the Road to World War I by Miranda Carter, and just wander over to the SF/F section. . .
. . . and come home with Harry Turtledove's Between the Rivers and Jay Lake's Mainspring in addition to the weighty history book.
This is when I'm already reading two books at home, Fear by Bob Woodward, and Shadow Captain by Alastair Reynolds. Meanwhile, my copy of The Guns of August is sulking on the nightstand, wondering when I'll get to it.
Problem? I don't have a problem. I can stop anytime I want! YOU'RE NOT MY REAL LIBRARIAN!
