I treasure them until they die of old age, then have them stuffed so I can savor the memory.

Exercise.

2. What is the latest you've ever woken up?
Not counting times when I was on medications, probably about 1600.

A person I owe a copy of At Close Quarters.

4. What is the last lame excuse you made?
"I'm just not feeling up to it."

5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through (one of the long ones...)?
No. If I do that, please check my pulse. I'm probably dead. If nothing else, I switch to Headline News.

I can't even remember.

Zero. The alarm is for Kirsten, and she isn't near it.

GLUTTONY

Don't have one.

2. Meat eaters: white meat or dark meat?
White.

3. What is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had in one sitting/outing/event?
Entire fifth of Jack Daniels, plus a few beers. This was when I was in the Army.

4. Have you ever used a professional diet company?
No.

5. Do you have an issue with your weight?
Yeah, I don't weigh enough! (Currently weigh 153lbs.)

6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods?
Spicy

7. Have you ever looked at a small house pet or child and thought, "LUNCH!"?
Yep! (mmm.. Mousie for lunch..)

A few dozen. Remember, I was in the Army and a deadhead.

A few hundred.

Rich.

Depends on the job.

Yes.

On my section, 287. Kiri has more.. far more. Over 90% are from CDs that we own(ed).

PRIDE

I don't know. Living through cancer, perhaps.

Get published in mainstream science fiction.

Yes.

Once. It was most unfulfilling.

I got out of bed. For me, that's pretty damn good.

I'd like ears that lay a little flatter on my skull, but that's minor.

FAITH

1. What religion do you follow?
None. I'm a rational agnostic.

2. What religion were you raised as?
None.

Human.

Define magic. I'm open to belief in anything, as long as it can be demonstrated to me.

5. What was the last promise you broke?
To do the dishes.

Yes, first week of Basic Training we were required to attend chapel so we could all be lectured on the services available to soldiers. I mouthed the words so I wouldn't stand out too badly.

7. Do you believe that anyone could be perfect?
No.

HOPE

1. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season?
Nope.. but what I got was better.

2. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for?
A cure for epilepsy, and a job that allows me to work within the limitations I have.

3. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure?
Sure. Eternal optimism is what has gotten me to this point!

Lots of them.

6. Do you gamble?
Outside of the lottery, not often.

Not that I can remember.

CHARITY

1. What causes do you support?
Gay rights, liberal concealed carry laws, reproductive rights.

2. What causes have you given money or time to?
The ACLU got some money from me, but I'm too broke to give anymore.

3. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless?
Yes

Not at this time, because of health reasons.

5. Do you give money to the homeless on the street?
No. Giving money to beggars is nothing more than supporting alcoholism and drug addiction. Give money to the groups that run the soup kitchens.

We've tried.

7. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need?
Let a friend stay in our apartment for a few months. There were some side benefits. :)

FORTITUDE

Epilepsy, deep water

Looked in the mirror. :)

Iron Man (Marvel) He is a self-made hero.. everything he has he built himself, and he is a recovering alcoholic.

Of course!

Brains.

Not that I can recall.

A leader. Which would doom me on Survivor.

Yes.

No. Not that they would take me...

No. We are finding out that there are many mistakes being made in the justice system. You can release a man from prison.. what do you do if you have executed someone?

Privacy.

5. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA?
He received the votes in the electoral college. However, how he reached that point is questionable at best.

Don't have one.

Yes.

I can't really say. I know many people who are wise in different areas.
