Anyone have a left-handed guitar they'd be willing to sell me cheap? Plus recommendations for a book/CD/DVD instruction program that address the fact that I'm sinister?

So long as I'm stuck at home, and it may be for a while, I may as well do something constructive. I used to play bass, figured I'd take up guitar.

Of course, if anyone has a left-handed bass lying around...

I was thinking more along the lines of "learn a new skill" along with doing something that gets away from the computer.

I thought one could make any guitar - well, any *acoustic* guitar left-handed by swapping the order of the strings. (With an electric, the tremolo bar would be a problem)

I have a spare acoustic with new strings you can borrow. You can just play Lefty playing as Righty or do what Hendrix did.

I'm sinister and play guitar "right-handed", which I find makes it easier by putting the chords (which involve tricky fingering) on my left hand.

Or you could flip a right-handed guitar over and play it Libba Cotton style.
