Prague. Great city, Amazing history, Fantastic food and beer, and The coolest clock in the world.

It's also a major city in my Pathfinder setting, home to the College of Magics and the Diet of Shadows.

How can you not love a city with a grand tradition of throwing politicians out of upper story windows?

"Diet of Shadows"?

Diet in it's use as a deliberative body (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Diet_%28assembly%29). While my version of Prague has the usual medieval leadership of any chartered city (a council made up of the most power merchants and guild leaders) the real power is the council of seven wizards who over see the magical affairs of this very magical city.

Their meetings and deliberations are secret as is their identities, hence "Diet of Shadows." It is commonly believed that that one of the nine members of the Diet is actually a dragon, who has sat on the council, in various forms, since its founding several centuries ago.
