Merry Christmas to all, hope you day is going well. Breakfast at my mom's place with my sister and her family. I have a new Giants WS Championship hoodie and the first Ciaphas Cain omnibus (thanks mikkop!)

But now we attend to the spiritual side of Christmas by going to church... with Slayer.

I've seen it before but it never ceases to amaze me how people can get INTO that shit so much. I've seen white folk get filled with the HG and gat all Speaking in Tongues and shit, but this Michael Jackson on Ritalin shit is dangerous to them kids.

It does look ridiculous, and is easy to mock, but if given a choice I'd rather go to a church that celebrated their faith and the promises made by their deity of choice in a joyful, exuberant way than the stodgy dullness of the Roman Catholic Church.
