Concepcion, Honduras. 20th century technology in 18th century architecture with locals who would have been happy if that bastard Cortez had died at sea. Not in any sense a tourist town, but a place that time hasn't forgotten so much as put on a shelf to be admired. Despite the rather prominent "Yanqui Go Home" graffiti near our barracks, the people were friendly and welcoming. Good beer, too.
