For the record, Cliff Lee lost games 1 and 5. The Rangers hit .190 as a team. Josh Hamilton went 2 for 20 in the World Series. Our manager not only gave Hamilton a chance to swing the bat, he put up a rotation and bullpen that gave him the chance to grab some pine and watch the celebration.

East Coast bias at it's finest!

Had any of them even Watched a Giants game until the World Series. Doesn't seem like it.

Heard a depressing IM from a Midwest chum. The 'breadbasket' states are reporting that Market street was nearly destroyed in violent riots after the Giants won the Series. [I asked him how 5 arrests for drunkeness and utterly no violence or peoperty damage could be called that and he IM'd back that it's the Midwest and they want to think Californians are violent nuts.]
