Each team hit two homeruns in this game. The difference was that the Rangers' first blast came with two men on base. Giants lead the Series 2-1.

Look at it this way... The Giants Just want to win the Series at home so that all may gaze upon them with admiration... From the stands. Or at least the beer thrown wont include the cup or the bottle.

I said about the Broom Brigade (starting with Ralph Barbieri at KNBR) that they were being premature. I continue to stand on my Giants-in-six prediction.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into things, but I never got the impression that the Giants ever "gave up" tonight; they just got out-played by a team that was better tonight. The Rangers were always going to be too good to be swept.
