Watch out. Ever since BitTorrent v7 (or possibly the last subversion before it) it's *hammered* my router and connectivity.

The torrents get thru but everything else has trouble.

I seriously doubt that I'll be doing that much with it, but the chance to grab a pile of Ars Magica stuff at once made it worth it. Amusingly, there isn't that much net traffic at 0400 on a Sunday morning. I'll just need to schedule things for times when Kirsten isn't home and traffic is low.

I'm going for old TV programs (and current episodes of things that conflict or that are on channels I don't get).

BitTorrent does have the option of limiting upload and download bandwidth (independently) and only running at certain times.
