Quick note from the OryCon internet lounge.

So far the con had been great fun. I ended up doing *four* panels on Friday, and they were all well attended. The "Brave GM: Difficult Players" was SRO at 1400 on a Friday! Great gaming community here.

I've met several TMLers, and my morning game went well despite only drawing only three players. Two of them were novices, so I threw most of the rules out the window and emphasized the action and role-playing. ACQ is tomorrow morning at 0900. I have three sign-ups, plus two others who said they are probably going to attend.

Eleri and I are getting along.. well. :) I've made my *big purchase of the con* and got a nice freebie along with it. My only complaint is that the Dealer's Room is much smaller than what I'm used to seeing at BayCon (about a quarter of the size with only a few types of vendors.)

We had a moment of panic when my return ticket disappeared. A thorough search revealed that a suspect descrbed as short, blonde and terminally cute had hidden them in her secret lair behind the recliner. Villain apprehended, but showed no signs of remorse.

Tonight Blade brought the Mousie to the con, and El bought her these wonderful fairy wings. These things flutter and bounce when she runs. Her Mouse-ness flirted with everything in sight, of course. After a bit, we went out to eat at this sports-themed restaurant called Damon's.

Did you know that today was the day that Oregon State played Oregon? Or Washington v. Washington State? I learned, the hard way. I thought I was a fanatic about the Niners!

So, we are just chilling a bit before exploring the party floor for a bit. Then back to our hotel.

Wow, I go home in just under two days. I've, loved the time I've spent up here but I miss my Kiri-boo and my bears!

Shocking facts: Doug has not seen Sportscenter in a week. I have read one newspaper.

I grew up in Spokane, which (at the time at least) was where the Washingtson vs. Washington state game was played. worse, we lived all of half a mile from the stadiuym and one one of the streets leading to it.

One way traffic from fairly early until the game started, then one way in the *other* direction from the end of the game until hours later. Ick!

As for Mousie, she has the secret kiddie power of Glamour, at *very* high point value.
