Doctor, Doctor Please!

Got out to see my new doctor after a long bus ride (never take MUNI line 54 when you have a headache.. lots of turns on our tiny little streets.) Got to the appointment early, and was surprised to see that they were asking for very little paperwork. Normally, I have to fill out a small book.
I did get to see the doctor, who has a fairly thick Italian accent and is soft spoken. Since I have a fairly bad level of hearing loss, this made communication difficult. Had the usual vitals taken (I currently weigh 161 lbs, my blood pressure and pulse are fine) and gave my history to the nurse.
Who wrote down that I have Parkinson's Disease. *sigh* That was corrected. I showed the doctor my meds, gave him a sheet with the vitals on the doctors who have treated me before, and got the once over. I left with new scripts for my Trileptal and lab sheets for a chest X-ray and blood work at St. Luke's hospital. Which I'll do later this week.
I think I'll be able to work with this guy.
