Generic Worldcon stuff.

• Leaving for Montreal in two days.

• Mostly packed. We may get everything into three checked pieces and three carry-ons.


• Passports: check.


• Passport cards: check


• Confirmed hotel reservation and asked for early check-in: check


• Double-checked flights: check


• The all-important question of which critters are coming with us has been settled. Koch the Penguin, Ba Bear, Maurice Mouse, and Marty Bear.


• Adults? Around here? Where!?

A couple of things. If we were planning on getting together at the con, please leave a comment with a way to contact you once we're in Montreal. All replies are screened. Also, and this is alway embarrassing, remind me who you are. I may know you by your LJ name and not be able to remember your real name or how we first came to know each other. My cell phone won't work in Canada. All arrangements will need to go through kshandra's phone until we're checked in, at which point I'll be able to let people know what room we're in. We're in the Embassy Suites. Which has a strict guest only policy for the rooms from what I can tell. So we won't be doing any entertaining.

It looks like the best nights for getting together for a drink or dinner is going to be Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm not sure if there's evening programming on Thursday that I'm overly interested in, so that might come open. One very important note: if we get together for food, I will need to do it without my dentures. Sadly, they are mostly for show and comfort. I can't chew without them coming completely loose. I've been told that I do a good job of looking normal while eating, but I felt it wise to warn people... it can be a bit of a shock.

Hey! You guys have fun in Montreal! I wish I could be there, but it's not going to happen this year. So I will sit back here in CA and envy you. :)
