- Just like a batter can go 0-for-May, then have a week where he hits .450, my job runs hot and cold.
- Witness this week. Monday and Tuesday were epics. I mean, check out Tuesday's route!. And Monday was actually the longer day! In two days, I clocked close to 20 hours.
- Today? I get in and three lonely boxes are sitting in my truck bed. Two deliveries, one scheduled pick-up. Out of mercy, I take a stop in Fremont from Victor. I'm still back by 1030. I then get tasked with hauling a pointless order to San Francisco (our revenue was less than $100.. now figure paying me, gas in the F-150 I used, our cost for the materials and labor, etc.)
- Oh well. I was still out early enough to get a serious haircut. For those of you who know about such things, we used a number 2 guide on the top, and a number 1 on the sides and back. somewhere, my First Sergeants are smiling (except for Top Dollar, who is snidely commenting "now he gets a haircut without a direct order and armed escort?")
- I think I shall scream now. Heaven and Hell is touring again, and they are going to be in San Jose. At the San Jose State Event Center. On August 10th.
- This is of course when I shall be in Montreal.
- Very odd weather. 77°F, 51% humidity. Not terrible, not not what we're used to in the South Bay. Feels like we should have a thunderstorm rolling through.
- By Halford, I miss Georgia thunderstorms.
- Being me, I'm considering a Land of the Lost/Lost/Stargate SG-1/Primeval GURPS crossover.
- I swear, if they ruin the LotL movie, Will Ferrel dies.
- Best webcomic you aren't reading. Servants of the Imperium

Date: 6 May 2009 22:43 (UTC)Camp has been replaced by stupidity. I loved the show but from what I saw, I won't like the movie.

Date: 7 May 2009 17:21 (UTC)If they were more like raptor people, I could buy it. But the lengths to which the show had to go to make stuntmen tottering sloowwwwwlyyyyy along in rubber suits menacing...
