I made the mistake of tuning in for th Navy press conference right after the news broke. I screamed at the tube when one reporter asked how the situation had changed that it was worth the lives of three pirates. A lot of the other questions were in the vein ...
!?! P*ssed is the word for how I feel. Though I thought of you, Mr Berry, when a reporter asked the admiral how he could be sure that the sniers could hit the target when only the head and torso was showing. Thank you, Mr. Sniperman, and the rest of you guys who are on my side.

I can't even BEGIN to fathom (hah, pun not intended but I'll take it) the concepts of a sniper at sea. you've got all the usual stuff going on, and then oh I dunno, 3 dimensional oscillations of EACH CRAFT.

The mind boggles. but I'm glad they did it flawlessly.

I wrote that before the details came through. But yeah, shooting between two moving ships, and three first-shot kills. These guys can drink my milkshake anytime.
