*chuckle* For a baseball player, he's a decent actor. Contrast some of those woodenly-read radio commercials some of the players make.
And I know from my own experience having to do blue-screen work back when I made my amateur Doctor Who movie back in college that it's not always easy to react to people/things that aren't really there when you're shooting but are added in post-production.
It's not that the ad copy is bad; I rather like the tag line, even. I think they should be able to do something like "Win with Winn" or similar. But Randy Winn sounds like he's reading ad copy.
