R.I.P. Bob Wilkins. Thanks for teaching me to truely love bad movies.

He also did this show, and I so want to do the costume. Captain Cosmic introduced a lot of us to the concept of Japanese animation.

So, what's your favorite bad science-fiction/horror movie of all time? For me, The Creeping Terror is the best of the best. Bad acting, a monster that looked like a shag carpet with occasional glimpses of sneakered feet under it, and the best part? The completed soundtrack was dropped into Lake Tahoe and the entire movie had to be re-dubed.

I didn't grow up in the Bay Area, so Bob Wilkens is not my bad movie guide.

Sir Graves Ghastly in Detroit was my guide in my youth, followed up by The Ghoul in my teen years.

However, I will always love the giant monster movies from Japan. Bad acting, bad dubbing, bad monster suits, visible zippers and all.
