BEFORE Miss Palin, Alaska didn't have an income tax at all, but all documented residents were subsidized (something like a $1000 payment per year for all Alaskans over a certain age, which was younger than 18). So this bit about reducing income tax confused me.

But yes, berating Obama for "sharing the wealth" seems a bit contradictory, to say the least.
