gridloreAnother find by Rick out at my Vendor in the Corn. Airbourne is an Australian metal band that's been active for a couple of years now. They' released an EP and a album to positive critical and fan response, and many people hear a definite flavor of AC/DC in their music. I'm also hearing Judas Priest and the Scorpions.
Currently, the band is finishing up with the Mayhem Festival before heading across the pond for a pretty goo tour of Europe.

As anyone who uses YouTube knows, the real treasures are often found in the listing of additional videos at the side of the page. As is my habit, I was cruising around loading up for the next few weeks of Heavy Metal Sunday when I saw The Wombats - Let's Dance to Joy Division. The band name alone made me watch.
