Sigh.

Arizona Diamondbacks: 7
San Francisco Giants: 2

Yeah, Barry Zito was pitching. We could move baserunners, and in general looked as bad as we were predicted to be.

Pictures up, and as an experiment I increased my image size from 640x480 to 1600x1200. Let me know what you think.

It could be worse, Doug... yesterday our ace gave up 9 runs in one inning.

That would be Lincecum, I take it?

(This series with the Braves hasn't been the best for pitching - Lidge gives up 5 runs without retiring a batter Friday, Hamels gives up 9 in an inning Saturday, and the team gives up 10 runs today.)

Yeah, 11-3, 2.78 ERA, 156 K's (leads NL)

Pretty good for a kid who doesn't look like he can shave yet.

He's also hitting .163, topping our starters, and only a few points behind Omar Visquel (.187 after today.)

And the Cubs split the homestand with the bloody Marlins, and they have a bare 1 game lead over the Brewers, who were fortunately beaten up by the Astros. Fortunately, our destiny is in our hands as we travel up to Miller Park for a 4 game set with the Brewers.
