[livejournal.com profile] apandaleaf told us in the car last night when she picked us up. Considering the man's health has been shit for the last few years, I'm not entirely surprised, but that doesn't make it suck any less.

(Proving that it does, in fact, run in the family, when I commented that we should have a moment of profanity in his honor, she noted that she'd had the same reaction - and expanded it to specifically include the Seven Words, just as you've done here. *grin*)

In an interesting bit of what I choose to call symmetry, my brother and I were watching Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip on his PSP while we were waiting for our flight out of Boston yesterday. I commented at the time that Pryor had both died too soon and lived a fuck of a lot longer than anyone who did what he did could expect.
