gridloreAs I sit here with a stuffed mouse on my lap, I answer more weird questions probably written by a 15 year old girl in some Midwestern suburb.
1) Do you like blue cheese? Depends on the cheese.
2) Have you ever smoked heroin? Nope.
3) Do you own guns? Not currently. Although I crave a Mosin-Nagant.
4) What flavor do you add to your drink at sonic? Never been to a Sonic. They aren't overly common in this area.
5) Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? Not anymore. I'm an old hand at the medical profession.
6) What do you think of hot dogs? Love them. They taste best at baseball games, of course.
7) Favorite Christmas song? The Kinks - Father Christmas
8) What do you prefer to drink in the morning? A can of my chocolate nutrition drink.
9) Can you do push ups? Yup. Of course, I suck at them these days. Once my teeth are in, and I can eat more, I'm planning to start an exercise program that includes 5 Army 4-count pushups and 10 4-count situps each day. As I gain strength, I'll increase those numbers.
10) Can you do a chin up? Probably. Another thing to work on. Given the muscle groups I use on the job a pull up might be easier than the pushups.
11) What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My Tyr rune pendant. It's close to being my only piece of jewelry, which makes the choice easier.
12) Favorite hobby? RPGs
13) Ever been in a car wreck? Several, of varying levels of damage.
14) Do you have A.D.D.? Nope, I'm not that trendy.
15) What's one trait that you hate about yourself? My tendency towards procrastination.
16) Middle name? Edward (after both my grandfathers)
17) Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment? 1. I need to do some research on a panel for Baycon. 2. I should try to free Darby's temporary registration from the window so I can go over to AAA for the insurance. 3. OMGWTFBBQ, the Giants are a half game out of 2nd in the NL West
18) Name 3 things you bought yesterday? Deviled ham, chili, chocolate pudding
19) Name 3 drinks you regularly drink? Coke Classic, Budweiser, Gatorade (various flavors)
20) Current worry? Getting the time off for when my teeth are ready. The fact I just bought a truck.
21) Current hate right now? Amazingly enough, I don't really hate anyone right now. I'm annoyed at the entire "Open Source Boobs" debacle, and the RNC is a constant source of irritation, but other than that, I'm good.
23) How did you bring in the New Year? In bed. I watched the ball drop in NYC (2100hrs my time) and decided that sleep was more important that watching the clock.

28) Do you like sleeping on satin sheets? Not really. I like the feel of satin, but the few times I've slept on satin it made for a long night.
29) Can you whistle? Not right now. Whistling requires all your front teeth to hold the lips in place.
30) Favorite color? Dark red, followed by black.
31) Would you be a pirate? Being a history geek, no. Pirates tended toward lives that were nasty, brutish and short.
32) What songs do you sing in the shower? Showtunes.
33) Favorite girl's name? Kayleigh
34) Favorite boy's name? Douglas
35) What's in your pocket? Wallet, my keys.
36) Last thing that made you laugh? It was last night, but I can't remember what the trigger was.
37) Best bed sheets as a child? Don't even remember. I switched to sleeping on a couch when I was about 14 or so.
38) Worst injury you've ever had? I completely separated my right shoulder when the track I was TC'ing rolled into a ditch when the driver nodded off.
39) Do you love where you live? No. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, and our management company is getting dumber by the day.
40) How many TVs do you have in your house? Two. Of course, the second is intended to replace the first, if we ever get around to opening the box.. (see Question #15)

42) How many dogs do you have? I time-share a dog at one of the vendors I visit.
43) Does someone have a crush on you? Beats me.
44) What do you want on your gravestone? A death date in the late 32nd century.
45) What is your favorite book? Just one?!?! Sheesh. If I had to pick, A World Out of Time by Larry Niven.
46) What is your favorite candy? On the chocolate side of things, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. On the minty side of the Force, either Altoids or Wint-O-Green Lifesavers.
47) Favorite Sports Team? San Francisco Giants (baseball), San Francisco 49ers (football), San Jose Sabercats (arena football), San Jose Sharks (hockey)
48) What song do you want played at your funeral? Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde, The Grateful Dead - He's Gone, Memory from Cats, and about 2/3rds the way through the memorial, everybody is going to stand up and sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
49) What were you doing 12 AM last night? Sleeping.
