The remarks aren't even all that entertaining.

Seems to be related to some folks here in California. Today was the day that the state Supreme Court heard the gay marriage case, and the local news radio station carried some audio from outside the court. The "Christians" seem to have gotten hold of Bibles that omit Matthew 7:1 along with all the other places where Jesus said "don't be a freaking prat."

... you know, it would have been cool if that line was in the Bible somewhere.

Ironic, isn't it? A religion founded by a man who was God and yet who humbled himself to the point of death by torture . . . and yet so many of its adherents turn out to be arrogant authoritarians.

Ironic, but probably inevitable. We humans seem to have an unlimited capacity to miss the point.

I don't believe it

Too convenient to list all the non-religious books together, and the comments are too pat. I think someone just made up a character and tagged it to his favorite "tweek the fundies" book list.
