Crazy Crab is back. Possibly the most hated, despised, utterly loathed sports mascot in history. Crazy Crab was the Giants' mascot for the 1984 season. Management later claimed that the Crab was meant as a sarcastic comment on the mascot craze, but no one believes them.

Now they're bring him back as part of the SF Giants 50th Anniversary Year. Jeezz.. couldn't they be kinder and bring back Atlee Hammaker to pitch a few innings?



I may have to get tickets to this game...

Oh, no! I saw the Crazy one during the final days at the 'Stick, including the one where one of his eyes fell off. I must get tickets for that one.

THAT IS THE BEST MASCOT IN BASEBALL HISTORY! Good lord, if that were at Blue Jays games I'd spend my whole afternoon pelting it with peanuts for sheer amusement sake.
