Hell the Wizard started with a spellbook of identify, a wand of death, and a ring of levitation.

Dead on Mines level 4, no bones pile. Killed by a freaking fire ant while my pet mumak was off head-butting gnomes or something.

A gray q. They have a devastating head-butt attack that can kill low-HP characters in one or two turns. I had Charm Monster, so I made him my pet to clear out Minetown.
