Hung did not win Top Chef. It was all a bad dream, and Dale and Casey shared top honors while Anthony Bourdain slapped Hung around with a trout for being an equally insufferable ass.
I'm willing to accept that Casey was just out of the running from the word go, but was Dale's failed lobster really that much more of a crime than Hung admitting to the judges that he played it safe with the chocolate cake?
Let's see, something that tastes good if a little ordinary compared to something that could have been extraordinary but turned out to not taste good. I can see why the judges went with what tasted good. I don't have to like it, but I can understand it.

Heck, I was wondering about the brightness of the curry sauce when it was served.
