I'm watching an Airline marathon on A&E. Every so often, they'll follow a passenger with an interesting story. In this episode, it's Mrs. Maryland, who is competing at the Mrs. International pageant. She works with some charity (didn't catch the name)

When asked about it by Bob Barker, she said the following:

"We're already international. We're in the United Kingdom, Australia, really remote areas of the world."

Have no fear, Great Britain! Mrs. Maryland is coming to save you!

Wales is remote? Damn that means Scotland must be near the end of the world. I knew something was wrong up here.

So if Britain is a remote place does that make Russia an alien planet?
