I have spent most of the day drinking beer. This, as most of you know, is a bit out of character for me. Buzzed, I'm a fun guy. Drunk, I'm a moody bastard given to depressing introspection. I don't like myself when I'm drunk.

So, why'd I do it? And why am I planning on drinking more beer?

Because I have to have another fucking blood test. Latest K level was 3.3. We're not doing anything to determine why this is happening, just drawing blood and reading levels. I'm sick of it.

I want to go back to work! Hell, they call me almost everyday for an update! It's summer, we're getting busy, and I am needed. I feel fine, although I know that my first few days will suck due to being out of shape (there's really nothing I can do at home to duplicate what I do at work. Best I can do is go for walks and do push-ups.)

What makes things worse is my doctor isn't communicating with me! Last two tests, I've had to email him for my results. That is very frustrating because I've told him how I'm getting heat from work.

so, Monday or Tuesday I'll go in, let them try to find blood, and see what happens from there.

Oh Bother - You should set yourself up for Kaiser's website. The Doctor can post lab results there and you don't have to play e-mail tag.
Hope those K rates go up soon!

He is set up for the website. But the website says "allow 5 to 7 days before calling about results that appear to be missing," and we need a faster turnaround than that. None of his results from this week's labwork are online yet, for example.
