Beer is a wonderful thing.

When one has a sore throat, one beer sooths it. Two beers and you forget you had a sore throat in the first place.

It can almost help you deal with a heartbreaking Giants loss.

And it makes this so much better:

That's Phillip Wellman, manager of the AA Mississippi Braves, melting down after a disagreement with the umpires.

Wonder if I have any chili left... it makes a wonderful companion to good beer.

Oh, dear. I do wish they'd left in what he'd done with those two bases he was carrying, but even without that, that was a meltdown for the ages.

AA ball. They tend to be a little more forgiving of interruptions as long as they are amusing.

Figured you'd like that clip... but how does it compare to Joe Mikulik?

I think this guy had a little more art in his meltdown. But they all-time champion raging meltdown still belongs to George Brett
