Had my follow up at US Healthworks today. Within 2 minutes of hearing my description of my pain and hearing my medical history, the doctor said "I'm pretty sure we're not looking at a work-related injury here." Sent me down to get pretty much everything X-rayed.

Initial impression of the films? "We're seeing arthritic changes in your hips." Frelling wonderful. Now we're back to trying to get into see my doctor at Kaiser so we can determine just how advanced and how bad things have gotten.

Not Work Related?

You do lifting in your work. You are sitting driving in your work. You use your arms, shoulders, hips and legs while driving lifting and other parts of your work. That ain't work related? Get a second opinion. Yeah. like Hairy Red thought, it might not be worth it, but it might. Like how much money do you have stashed away to pay medico bills, and the bills of day to day living? Most likely not much. (Some people work for fun, but most people can find something to do that they don't call work even if the next bloke would.)

Nuf sed by a stranger.

Good luck,

Bert.

Where is his bread buttered?

Is there some sort of career/financial incentive to find your problem "not work related"? How does this tie into the problems with your hands?

*prayers* and (gentle!) *hugs*!
Hope the medical responsibility works out, but even more I hope there's a good treatment for it!

Uh.

Sorry to hear that, hope it'll get better and you'll get a working treatment.

(We've talked on the TML, but this is my first comment here.)
