A post where I mention that I came close to crushing one of my fingers, but only bled a great deal and dealt with a lot pain: 0 replies

I post a link to a CGI film of a Giant Nazi Warbot taking on the US military in 1943: 14 replies

Smashing your finger is unfortunate. But giant robots are cool.

And I know the feeling.

Now what if you posted that the giant Nazi warbot stepped on your finger?

Other than to commiserate, what's to say about the first?

Tell your troubles to God, 'cause the chaplain's logged onto Myspace...

Of course, half of those 14 comments were your responses to our comments...

Actually I somehow missed the post about your finger. *goes back to read* CRAP!

Reminds me of when I dropped the shrink wrap support bar on my thumb and nearly lost the thing entirely. Ugh.

Glad you're ok. :)

I missed the one about the mech, saw the one about your finger, winced in sympathy, sent good thoughts, and meant to post a comment. Then early senility set in and I forgot all about it :(

Somehow I missed the post. Ouch. I've not crushed a finger, although whacking my thumbs with a hammer, that's another matter.

If you mention bleeding and crushing, your loyal readers want to see pictures.

Haven't seen either one. Still scrolling through a day's worth of journal. Had I, I most definitely would have sent sympathies on the finger.

Ah. Found the finger post, which I did see but seeing as you didn't say "And I was rushed to Urgent Care", or tell us anything about how it happened, I figured it was going to be okay and didn't say anything.

I'm sorry you were hurt.

What's your issue???

We all suffer pain and blood. And you penguin-fans are always looking for sympathy, while you conspire with the tuxedoed evil things to Take Over The World!

However, we rarely get to see giant Nazi robots.

And now everybody is scrambling all over themselves to respond to THIS post. Humans are amusing!

I think a lot of people don't know how to respond to reports of injury, and since there was no outcome swaying in the balance (like if you needed treatment or something)

But I think a lot of people think a lot like me (which is a scary, SCARY thought) where we'll think for a second "well I'm glad he only got close to crushing the finger and didn't actually lose it or the use of it."

And then there are Giant Nazi Robots (not to mention the Samurai looking one)

I'd missed the post about your injury. I hope you feel better soon.

Hm, didn't respond to either post. The finger one sounded normal for you. Having done similar things and I supposedly lead a much safer life, didn't thing it needed mentioning. I hug and send vibes when you end up in the hospital for infections and the like. That's when things get serious!
The other one didn't interest me.
Back to work. I have laundry to do.

Hey, I responded! Of course, I'm a bit late in catching up with all my friends' LJs, too...
