The San Francisco Giants-Pittsburgh Pirates game scheduled for Saturday night was postponed by rain.

The game is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday at 1:35 p.m., though the forecast calls for rain and snow showers and temperatures in the 40s.

Oh, the humanity! Oh, the Angst! No baseball! Everything.. going.. dark...

Even worse, I'M OUT OF BEER!!! How on Ghu's hops & barley-covered Earth did that happen?! (hic)

I shall endure.. a night of no baseball and no beer will try my soul, but there is a light ahead.. a possible double-header!

There is something odd about a baseball game being called on account of snow! Isn't Baseball supposed to be a Summer Sport?

I've seen snow-outs before early in the season and in places that tend to get late storms like Colorado and around the Great Lakes, but never this bad.

Doug, we're probably gonna get rained out here tomorrow, same storm that got your game today. They'll have to find an off day to play it on though...

By the way, I'm blaming Bonds' homers #736 and #737 on the ketchup-colored uniforms the Pirates were wearing on Friday.

I'm pulling for you man! It sounds like a hardship, but I have faith in the fact that your just too damn ornery to let the double hardship of no beer or baseball get you down for long. Hell, it will give you an excuse to be even more ornery.
