This has become one of my favorite stories in the Bay Area over the last few months.
Mike Sugerman, a reporter for CBS5 (television) and KCBS (radio) was doing a story on BandWorks. He decided todragoon enlist five of his coworkers to actually take part in the program. The result?
The Eyewitness Blues Band.
The story took off, with radio promos, real buzz, and a threat of retaliation from Derek Smalls. Check out all the clips in the media section.
Seriously you need to watch the video from Ashkenaz. The Eyewitness Blues has become their signature tune.
BandWorks looks like something I'd love to do sometime.

Because I'm a News Man
I ride around in a News Van
When there's death and destruction, I get up and go
I can't believe we're losing to KGO!
