Spent all yesterday in bed, and that's the plan for today. Vicodin is finally helping, the pain is down to a distant throbbing. Too soon to tell how well the antibiotic is working, but there has been a disturbing development. My right eye has swollen to the point of being nearly shut. Don't know if this a new development of the infection or if it comes from sleeping for 8+ hours on one side.

More than likely we'll be going back out to urgent care again.

That sounds quite horrifying, actually. :(

Hope you get to spend at least some of the day at home, resting (as you should be!), instead of spending the whole day running all over hell's half acre trying to find someone to sort out your poor sinuses.

The eye problem can be a development of a sinus infection. I've shared a hospital room with a couple of people who had the same problem (in my case the infection disturbed my hearing).

Oh Bother. Do call and get an appointment at Urgent Care, rather than just show up at emergency, it speeds the process.
