That Winter Holiday.

We had a good one. Went over to
baka49er's place a little early to help set up. Ann and Bill, escorting Kylie the Wonder Niece, arrived a little after 1000. Great breakfast, nice low key atmosphere.
Then came the presents. In true family tradition, when went in order from youngest to oldest, so Kylie got to open her gifts first. She loved tearing paper. More than the presents, I think. Kirsten loved the Emergency Backup Present. Kylie got books, a doll (that we all agreed reminded us of Talky Tina,) and some other goodies.
I got several great gifts.
The American President and Blazing Saddles - 30th Anniversary Edition on DVD
Fleece pants and some very warm socks for lounging around at home.
The traditional motorcycle (Kiri got one too)
A huge history book that cover the events of every day of the year. Lot of fun reading there!
Kirsten and I got a special boxed set of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Shock Treatment that came with a t-shirt.
Fudge, and the every so traditional lottery scratchers. (We won $6!)
Ann and her family had to leave after a few hours so Kylie could get a nap before heading off to see the Other Family. When Ann asked Kylie if it was time to go home, she waved at us and said "bye-bye!" Kid knows when it's time to go! We also left to come home and nap for a bit. Later we went back over to enjoy a nice dinner with Mom.
Good holiday. Hope y'all enjoyed yours. I'll have some pictures fairly soon.

This is Janet. She's a phenomenon.
